Fulfilling dreams of young adults in underserved communities

A forever wish for underserved communities often means something much different than it does to individuals in developed countries. Many of us would not view a simple life-saving medical intervention or basic schooling as a child’s greatest wish, yet those are precisely the wishes that underserved children of the world long for with their entire heart and soul. Many of the children of the world have skills, talents, and passions just waiting to be unlocked and encouraged, and need to be given their wings to take flight and soar. Whether the wish is for school necessities, medical treatment, holiday gifts, or tools to develop a young child’s talents, the ALO Cultural Foundation will grant as many requests as possible to qualified applicants on a yearly basis.

The Foundation accepts applicants (ages 5 to 17) from low-income families, and we welcome all deserving young adults to apply, even those who have previously been turned down for assistance by other organizations. The Foundation also encourages participation for children with disabilities in recognition of their gifted, or perhaps undiscovered, talents, as we believe every child has special gifts to offer to the world. We seek to enhance their talents, drive their confidence, and improve their skills with the aim to turn their disability into a unique ability that gives them purpose and fulfillment, with direct assistance that will positively impact their livelihood – and that of their families – forever.
