ALO-Art Exhibition

When art is conveyed through the eyes of a child, they are able to capture innocence, creativity, and emotional expressions that are not often present in adult works of art. Children are proficient in capturing their ingenuity into an artful masterpiece, their brushstrokes constructing a realm independent of the world that adults live in. Their experiences, viewpoints, and opinions have not yet colored their outlook of the world, allowing them to freely infuse their creations with pure and authentic simplicity that transcends reality. There is no such thing as black and white, no rules, and no inhibition – a child’s art is open to the interpretation that exists within their own colorful imagination. Their artistic expressions give you a small glimpse into their world, and offer a preview of the possibilities that exist when young artists are given the tools needed to blossom and flourish. To help foster creativity and empathy, the ALO Cultural Foundation arranges public and private exhibitions that showcase the innovative art and literature works of at-risk youth, who often need only a meaningful platform to shine brightly. In addition to cultivating childhood imagination and lessening the effects of distress due to social challenges, the Foundation supports healthy development of children with a focus on literature and art to help them realize their talents and ambitions.
